CHER is an engineering research lab group based at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA.
Our work spans from the planning and design of coastal and waterway infrastructure to new development in shoreline and waterway protection technologies. While our work is diverse, our projects are linked by enhancing the use of traditional ecological practices and hybrid solutions through engineering.
